Questions before you send plans
These answers are for architects, custom home builders and owners preparing an enquiry for a new home. Available systems and commercial details need confirmation for the project. This site does not state a service area.
Preparing your project
Who is this written for?
Architects, custom home builders and owners planning an architect-designed new home. The notes cover early review of plans, elevations and the window schedule. They do not describe a finished Robot Windows project or a price.
Can I enquire without a window schedule?
Yes. Start with a short project description, a marked elevation or a list of openings. Include dimensions only where known and identify anything that still needs measuring. You do not need to invent a complete specification to start a conversation.
Which drawing revision should I send?
Use the current revision and include its date or revision reference in your email. If two documents disagree, point out the difference. Do not assume a later email automatically replaces every earlier drawing.
Should I send the energy report?
Include it if the project already has one, along with the relevant schedule. Any energy note needs to stay connected to the proposed frame and glass combination. A reference photo or opening type does not establish a compliant specification.
Can I request supply and installation?
You can state that preference in your enquiry. The available service, responsibilities and scope must be confirmed for your project. Selecting it on the page does not book installation or establish a service area.
Can the website give me a price or delivery date?
No. The site does not calculate quotations, show confirmed stock or reserve production time. Price and timing need to be confirmed against the project scope and agreed specification.
Sending an enquiry
Does Open email send my plans?
No. It asks your email app to open a draft addressed to hello@robotwindows.com. Attach drawings in that app, review the message and send it yourself. The website cannot confirm delivery or receipt.
What if I do not have an email app set up?
Open your usual webmail service and start a new message to hello@robotwindows.com. Copy the enquiry details from the page or type a short project summary. Attach any drawings through your email service.
Can I upload files here?
No. The website does not upload or store your drawings. Files are attached in your email app. Your email provider may impose size limits. If an attachment is too large, send a short message first and ask how to share it.
What information should I leave out?
Leave out identity documents, payment details and unrelated personal information. Check plans for names, addresses or other details that are not needed for the enquiry. Only share material you are entitled to provide.
How do I know the enquiry was sent?
Check your email app for its sending status and any delivery failure message. The website does not know whether a draft opened or a message reached the inbox. If you need to follow up, reply to your sent message so the project context stays together.
Does an enquiry place an order?
No. It begins a conversation. The scope, specification, commercial terms and any commitments need separate agreement.
Understanding the website
Are the photos and video Robot Windows projects?
No. The selected photos and video are licensed architectural references from Pexels and Mixkit. They illustrate planning ideas, not completed Robot work or confirmed products.
Can I specify a product from an image?
Use an image to explain what you like, then identify the requirements on your drawing. It cannot confirm the frame material, glass, finish, hardware, dimensions or performance of a proposed system.
Where can I compare opening types?
The window and door guides explain general planning considerations. They do not confirm that a particular configuration or size is available for your project.
Where can I ask about personal information?
Email hello@robotwindows.com with your question. A privacy notice is not on this site.
